On your dashboard, you will be able to keep yourselves updated with the latest news and events that happen on Mykonos island! Furthermore, you can find all new businesses that are constantly been added on Mykonos Traveller, making sure you never miss a thing!


From your statistics, you can view how popular your listing is in real time and as well in the past by setting your desired day, month or year range!

My Listings

Your listings are where you can manage your business advertisement! You can edit your business details, photos, contact information and also view the date it was posted when it expires and the overall visits it had! You can also delete it and start from scratch if something is not right for you, but we strongly recommend before deleting to consider contacting us for any modifications you wish to accomplish!

My bookmarks

From your bookmarks you can manage the list with all the places and other businesses, you have added to your favorites! By exploiting this feature you can track anything that interests you on Mykonos island!

Edit account

On the edit account section, you can see your profile details and change your name, email address or password!

Edit address

On the edit address section, you can see and edit the billing address that will be used on the checkout page by default.

My Subscriptions

From your subscriptions, you can view the status of your listing packages, buy a new, upgrade package, or cancel any active subscriptions!

By utilizing our online platform, all registered business accounts are able to manage how their business will look! Either you select our free package or any of our paid ones, you will be able to update your description, photos, and exact location! Furthermore, you will automatically get verified for our visitors and your potential costumers, to know that the advertisement is claimed and associated with the rightful business owner!

Can you deactivate my account?

Trust and Use

Mykonos Traveller may limit, suspend, or deactivate your account, as outlined in our Terms of Service. Your account may be deactivated only in the case we discover a misuse of our website (such as providing fake information).

The following may occur with or without notifying you directly:

  • Your account can be deactivated or suspended
  • You may not be able to access the platform, your account or content.
  • Your listing will be removed and all content may be deleted.

If in any case, you believe that your account has been deactivated by mistake, you can message us by visiting the Contact us section on this page.

How do I cancel my account?

We will be very sad to see you leave us!

If there is any way that we can change your mind, possibly by helping you set something up, or answering a question, please let us know. Otherwise, read on to learn how to cancel your account:

  1. Log in to My Account on Mykonos Traveller.
  2. Navigate to the Support tab on your account or send us a message by visiting the Contact us section on this page.
  3. Fill up the form and select on the subject «I want to cancel my account!»

You will receive a confirmation of the deletion within 48 hours.

Please note that once you have canceled your account, all of your content along with your listing will be permanently deleted from our server.



What are the guidelines for adding a business?

We try to list every service or business for which there is some kind of local experience or interaction. We also try to list local attractions and personalities (you’ll sometimes find the occasional listing).

Eligibility: We’re less interested in showing business-to-business (b2b) and online-only businesses, but there are some gray areas where we need to make a tough call about whether a business belongs on Mykonos Traveller or not. If a business page you add is not eligible to be listed on our portal, it will not be part of our directory. This means that the business page will not appear in search results, but may be accessible via a direct link or user profiles if that user has bookmarked it.

Individual vs. Practice: Generally speaking, we try to maintain separate pages for individual service providers whose work tends to be evaluated separately from their shared group. For example, we might have separate pages for each private yacht or villa for rent. At the same time, we try to maintain a page for the agency that rents these private yachts or villas. Some users find their experience with the individual listings more interesting than rather from the group and will be more attracted for something more specific. Not every situation is the same, so submit a report if you think we need to merge two pages or create a new one.

Opening Soon: We recommend adding a business to Mykonos Traveller only after it has officially opened for business or up to one month before. Our moderators need to verify the information, so if it’s too far in advance and they can’t confirm, the addition will be rejected.

Multiple Locations: Business pages on Mykonos Traveller are for individual/separate locations of any given business. If you think a business page has the wrong address, please search in the area and make sure that the location you are looking for is not already in our directory. If you have questions concerning closures, moves, renovations, etc., read our guideline below for substantial business changes.

The easiest way to claim your business page is to search for it at using the name at our search field in the homepage!

On the results page:

  • Scroll through the listings to find yours or use the map to find your business location
  • Click on the listing to open it.
  • Just after the Photo Gallery click on the note that says “if this is your business claim it now!”
  • If you start there, we’ll walk you through all the steps to claim your page and set up your business account.

In case there is no option to claim the page then:

  • It may have already been claimed by someone else
  • The business page may be recently submitted and pending approval
  • If you aren’t able to claim your business, you can message us by visiting the Contact Us section on this page. Our Support team will be happy to assist you.
Adding your Business

Please note that any business/listing additions must first be evaluated by our moderators before they appear in search results. This process typically takes two days or less, depending on our ability to independently verify the information. If your business is eligible you will receive an email notification when your business submission is accepted.

If you’re a business owner and would like to add your business on Mykonos Traveller then follow these steps:

  1. Search for your business to make sure it’s not already listed
  2. If your business is not yet listed, click Add your business.
  3. View, compare and select your desired subscription package by clicking on the Get Started button.
  4. Enter all of your business information in the provided fields.
  5. Preview how the listing of your business will look!
  6. If you are happy with the result click Submit Listing!

What are the guidelines for your business information?

Before adding your business you should read carefully and learn how to fill up the fields on the submission form for having quality business information, and why some suggestions might be rejected.

Below are some general pointers for submitting or updating a business page according to our standards regarding Business Details, Business Features and Business Contact fields.

Please note that depending on the subscription package you will select, different options will be available upon submission! You can have a look at what each package offers at our comparative table on our page here.

Keep also in mind there may be exceptions to our guidelines, but our moderators will reject any updates they’re unable to verify. There are also a number of style conventions we follow, and if submissions are verified but incorrectly formatted, we may update them to fit our standards.

Submitting your Business Details

The below details are describing the basic fields that you will have to fill up while submitting your business listing and are available to all of our subscription packages!

Name: Names should be succinct and reflect the official brand or how an average person would refer to the business. For example, store numbers should not be used (such as ”7-Eleven #415”), and we try to avoid keywords, taglines, or other information that’s available elsewhere on the business page, such as areas or categories.

Subtitle: Subtitle is a very small description of no more than 5 words that best describes in short your business! Please note that if this is incorrectly formatted, we may update it to fit our standards.

Category: Categories should be as specific as possible and describe the primary activities of the business rather than the entire scope of the business activity. We allow a maximum of one category, but businesses can appear in search results for more (e.g. a restaurant or a bakery will still appear in a search for the broader category, “Eat & Drink”). If you believe that a business page is in the wrong category or needs to be updated with a new one, please send us a message.

Description: In the description, you should best describe what your business offers! It should be more than 250 words and less than 500. Use simple words and short sentences. Please note that if this is incorrectly composed or formatted, we may update it to fit our standards.

Gallery Images: Having great and plenty of photos for your business is a must in these days. They instantly give a good first impression and make you look professional. That’s why we grant you an upload limit of 50 photos, to best showcase your business! The key is to use high-quality photos that do justice to what your business sells, so people get excited and want to learn more! Note that the the first image will be used as your cover photo.

Area: In the Area, you should select the region that your business is located! If you believe that we miss a specific island area, please send us a message and we will create it for you!

Address / Map Marker: The location of your business, is important to your potential customers! That’s why we have embed in our listings the popular Google Maps application, where visitors can get accurate directions on their smartphone, tablet or laptop and get to your exact location either by driving, by public transit or even by walking! Feel free to click on the Geo-location icon (on the right), if you make the submission from the physical business address. Please note that business pages on Mykonos Traveller are for individual/separate locations of any given business, and a specific address is required to be in our directory. There may be exceptions for certain businesses that lack address info, however, these pages require a service area. Residential addresses are discouraged in these cases unless the business desires to have this public. If you think a business page has the wrong address, please search in the area and make sure that the location you are looking for is not already in our directory. If you have questions concerning closures, moves, renovations, etc., read about substantial business changes.

Hours: The hours submitted for a business should display the normal operating hours in any given week. These should be in line with what’s reflected on the business’ website or otherwise known (printed on a storefront window, menu, flyer, etc.). If a business is open 24 hrs, business owners can note this in the hours’ section when submitting or updating their listing.

Submitting your Business Features

The below details are describing the advanced fields that you will have to fill up while submitting your business listing and most of them are available to all of our subscription packages! (Advanced Business Features are available only in our paid subscription packages)

Type: Types should be also specific and describe the secondary activities of the business. We allow a maximum of three types to select from. However, types that aren’t fully represented by a business offering may be rejected, even if the business currently has less than three.

Price Range: Use our predefined values to inform your potential costumers of the price range of your business. As we do not have a maximum number of values to select from, you can select multiple values if the services you provide are of a wide range!

Best for: This field represents the audience your business is addressing to. This might be one of the key factors in targeting the right audience so select the appropriate values wisely! We do not have a maximum number of values to select from. However, in case that isn’t fully accurate, some of the selected values may be rejected

Advanced Business Features: Our advanced business features are available only in our Premium or Professional Packages as they add incomparable relevancy and truly make a difference in defining your marketing target! These features are actually customized taxonomies, into which your business listing is associated with the appropriate services, amenities or facilities it offers to customers! Depending on the category of your business, different features/taxonomies will be unlocked and available to select from! In more details:

  • For the Category Accommodation and all subcategories, you will be able to select features also for your: Accommodation Facilities, Services, and Room Amenities.
  • For the Category Eat & Drink and all subcategories you will be able to select features also for your: Cuisine, Ambiance, Dress Code.
  • For the Category Nightlife and all subcategories, you will be able to select features also for your: Entertainment, Ambiance, Dress Code.
  • For the Category Things to do and all subcategories you will be able to select features also for your: Ambiance, Dress Code.
  • For the Category Travel Services and all subcategories, you will be able to select features also for your: Services, Ambiance, Dress Code.

By setting the appropriate features of your business, automatically your listing will be displayed in the results of our advanced search filtering! In that way, we create personalized pages for our users and best serving them with what they are looking for, excluding any irrelevant listings! Additionally, you increase up to 10 times more the possibility of our users to find that your business is exactly what they are looking for, becoming your potential customers!

Furthermore, each of the taxonomies/features we have is represented by a page on our website, so the more features you select, in more pages, your business listing will be displayed! Please note that we do not have a maximum number of features to select from. However, if the ones you select aren’t fully accurate by what your business is offering then some of them may be rejected. We also add new taxonomies/features every now and then – this is the current list – so check us out regularly. If you believe that we miss a critical taxonomy/feature, please let us know and we will create it for you!

Submitting your Business Contact

Despite the fact, we include in all of our packages a contact form, where our users can get in touch with you directly, this certainly isn’t enough. As a business owner, having all of your contact details converts our users into your potential customers. This is mainly because people can contact you by various means, such as calling you on the phone number provided, as some still want a more direct contact for urgent queries or more complicated ones! By further adding your business email and website, you make sure that you’ll attract people to your brand’s home base, where they can buy your product or service, reaching a wider related audience and potentially increasing your sales!

The below details are describing the contact fields that you will have to fill up while submitting your business listing! These are available only in our paid subscription packages. You can have a look at what each package offers at our comparative table on our page here.

Phone/Fax/Mobile Number: The phone number on a business page should be a direct local phone/fax number where available. We don’t provide a field for extensions and avoid listing numbers for national call centers. We may not accept cell phone numbers (especially for unclaimed businesses) or tracking numbers for 3rd parties.

Website/email address: The website and email address field on a business page are intended to direct Mykonos Traveller’s users to the business’ official website or email address. It is not intended to direct our users to directories or other irrelevant third party websites/email addresses. If a business doesn’t have their own website/email, this field should be left blank. Also by submitting your official website to Mykonos Traveller, Google’s crawl engine will discover your URL address on our page, back-linking it to your official address and consequently push you higher to the top of the search results!

Social Media pages: By selecting our Professional package you can also display all of you Social media pages, connecting your business with your audience on an authentic level. To do that, you have to intimately understand your current and potential customers. This is something we do for you, by defining your audience, targeting all those people who seek any kind of information about Mykonos island! When our users can see that you’re on the social media as well, they may be more likely to follow you immediately and better engage with your business, leading them to your sales funnel!

This is very important also for our visitors and your potential costumers, to know that the advertisement is claimed and associated with the rightful business owner! When submitting a request to verify a business, we ask for additional information that can help us evaluate it like a verified phone number or a confirmed email address.

Submit a request to verify a business

You can submit a request to verify a business by claiming the relative listing. If your request is denied, you can submit another request for the same listing 30 days after receiving the email from us. If you received a response from us requesting edits to your listing and/or additional information, you can submit another request any time after completing the steps outlined in our response. If you’ve submitted a request and have not yet received an email from us, we may be having trouble delivering it so please try contacting us again.

Substantial business changes

Reporting a change!

When a business undergoes a major change – such as a renovation, rebranding, or relocation that dramatically changes the nature and customer experience of that business, Mykonos Traveller will generally update the business page to reflect those changes. This can include updating the business’s location or contact details, adding one of several special banners that specifically call out those changes, or an entirely new business page to reflect a significant change.

Our moderators assess a number of different factors and consider how impactful the changes are to the consumer experience. Getting changes of this magnitude wrong can be disruptive to businesses as well as potential customers, and our moderators will typically look for external confirmation, like a notice on the business’s website, Facebook page, or Twitter feed, or a news article describing the changes. When reporting substantial changes, you can help our moderators by including links to these sources in the Additional Context/Notes field.

Permanent Closures

Businesses that close will stay listed on Mykonos Traveller. This allows customers to confirm the business’s status. However, closed businesses will appear less prominently in searches. Also, a note will be added to alert visitors of the closure on the listing pages, marked as permanently closed.

Temporary Closures

Businesses that close seasonally or for a short period of time — but offer a largely similar experience when they reopen — can be marked as temporarily closed. Also, a note will be added to alert visitors of the temporary closure of the business.


For businesses that undergo renovations which result in a largely different customer experience afterward, we’ll generally update the existing page and occasionally mark it as renovated. In major changes we will also add a note for a short period of time after the renovation, informing visitors for this change!


For many businesses, location and ambiance are a core part of the consumer experience, so when these businesses move, we typically update the existing page and mark it as moving in a new location. A note informing visitors for this change will also appear for a short period of time after the transition.

Ownership/Management changes

When a business is transferred to new owners or management but the core customer experience remains the same, business owners are welcome to let their customers know about the change in the Description section. The old owners may relinquish access to the business page so that it can be claimed by the new owners. If the new ownership is accompanied by changes in the location, ambiance, or other fundamental elements of the customer experience, a new business page may be created to help customers differentiate between the old and new experiences


Businesses that change names but retain the same customer experience, we’ll generally update the name of the business rather than create a new business page. As such, name changes can be submitted as a general business information update. If the new name is accompanied by changes in the location, ambiance, or other fundamental elements of the customer experience, a new business page may be created to help customers differentiate between the old and new experiences
