Agios Stefanos Beach

One of the most well organized and touristic beaches!

Agios Stefanos beach is one of the most well organized and touristic beaches in Mykonos!

Located 3 kilometers in the North of Mykonos Town, you can get to Agios Stefanos beach by bus (from the Old Port bus station), car, motorbike or taxi. This windless sandy beach is also just 1km further on from Tourlos area and the NEW port.

The beach is well developed with sun beds, umbrellas, cafes, restaurants and taverns offering fresh fish and homemade cooked dishes.

Although not the whole stretch of Agios Stephanos has sunbeds and there is also a part where you can just lie your towel in the sand. The beach is named after the pretty church with the red roof that you see at the end of the beach. It is mostly family orientated since it is easy to get into the water. The sea is shallow and the bottom of the sea consists of fine sand.

Agios Stefanos beach is also surrounded by various accomodation options, from budget rooms, apartments and mid-range hotels to luxury resorts and private villas.

From the beach there is a view of the big cruise boats that dock at Tourlos New port and as well a lovely view of Delos and Rhenia islands.

Agios Stefanos beach is probably a solution for those who do not have their own means of transportation and do not like moving around much.
