Ano Mera

Ano Mera is the only village in Mykonos, situated at the core of the island. In a 15-minute drive from Mykonos Town (7km) by your own transportation or by public bus (from the Old Port bus station) you can be to the second most populated area in Mykonos. Situated 6km in the northeast of Mykonos Town and you can get to Ftelia only by car, motorbike or also taxi.

Mykonos Town or Chora is definitely the heart of this majestic island! In the endless small streets, you will find hotels, shops, restaurants, bars and much more. The famous whitewashed windmills are standing on a hill in the west overlooking Little Venice which is one of the most beautiful parts of the Town. Note that the only way to get around the town is to walk as motorized traffic is strictly prohibited on its streets. In case you want to be close to Mykonos Town’s action but also being able to find some peace, then consider someplace at the outskirts.
