Lia Beach

Lia Beach is a beautiful secluded beach, where you can really relax anytime of the season!

Located 14 kilometers in the south-east of Mykonos Town, you can get to Lia beach only by car, motorbike or taxi. The beach is almost as far east as you can go and there are easy street signs to follow to get there. Unfortunately no buses or water taxi goes there.

There is no beach on Mykonos which offers the combination of solitude, quality restaurant and clear waters as perfectly as Lia.

Protected by the summer winds, its blue waters and the white sand create the ultimate combination for a swimming paradise. The beach is also surrounded by rocks making it a great spot for diving and snorkeling.

Even though it is considered a rather quiet beach for the standards of Mykonos, Lia has been a favorite place for this reason. The beach is well organized with colorful umbrellas, sundecks, changing rooms, places to take a shower and also a center of diving and snorkeling.

There are also two restaurants nearby and a beach bar with various snacks and drinks. The hills that surround the beach are mostly bare and the natural landscape gives you the feeling of total freedom. You can also find various accommodation in the area, from economical apartments to luxury villas.

This quiet beach is the perfect spot to just lay on the sand, hear the waves and feel the breeze!
